Look for the following indicators of a suspicious letter or package:
- Badly typed or written and or misspelled words.
- Possibly mailed from a foreign country.
- Excessive postage.
- Restrictive markings, or no return address.
- Incorrect title of position or addressed to title of position only.
- Oily stains, discolorations or crystallization on the package.
- Strange odor.
- Rigid, bulky or the use of excessive tape.
- Lopsided or uneven.
